In a surprising turn of events, the U.S. Census Bureau reported a remarkable surge in new business applications in 2021. A staggering 5.4 million new business applications were filed, surpassing the previous record of 4.4 million in 2020 and dwarfing the 3.5 million new applications seen in 2019. This surge in entrepreneurial spirit has swept across the nation, and what's even more intriguing is that a substantial portion of these applicants find themselves in the 4th quarter of life.
